Our story

The idea

David Abfalterer — a programmer since his youth, trained in building construction — experiences the efficiency gaps in construction daily and starts building the software that closes them.

2016 — The founding

David and Tobias meet during their computer science studies; Tobias is immediately convinced by the value of an all-in-one construction platform. In August 2016 they found XBuild GmbH.

2020 — The launch

After years of development and a growing tech team, XBuild launches in December 2020 — a platform with 10 modules and over 100 features, mobile and offline-capable.

The recognition

International awards — from the Grand Stevie Award to the BIM Lions Award — confirm the path.

The future
